Sydney Trains and NSW Trains EA now approved by Fair Work!

Dear Members,

Moments ago the Fair Work Commission approved our new enterprise agreement!

There was an unusual delay in the approval, but the EA went through without controversy, meaning that the reason for the delay was probably related to the Commission’s workload rather than anything else.

The EA comes into force in 7 days, from 7 August 2025 and all rights and conditions under the Agreement become enforceable from that date.

The pay rises and backpay are payable in the first full pay period after 7 August 2025.

This is the final step in what was a hard fought EA Campaign. We take this opportunity to thank and congratulate all of our EA delegates and delegates more broadly for all the work they did in this challenging period.
