Result of the PABO vote

Dear Members,

At 1200hrs today, the RTBU’s protected action ballot concluded. The questions were overwhelmingly supported, with over 94% of members voting YES to every question!

With bargaining ongoing, our application for a multi agreement making its way through the Fair Work Commission, and our next meeting on Wednesday and Thursday this week, there is momentum building and we’re confident that we’ll start to see some real progress in this negotiation.

We remain hopeful that the Government and the Rail Agencies will return to the table with a decent offer, but we’re not holding our breath.
