Look out for each other during our protected industrial action

We are now three days into our industrial action campaign in support of our log of claims for our new EA. Needless to say, we are certainly making our point that the government and management can’t continue to ignore our claims and surface bargain for months on end.

Remember, when we are taking industrial action, that as an industry union, our members are everywhere across the railway. Certain actions can have effects on different classifications in different ways. When we take action, it’s important that we show respect to our fellow members, no matter what job they do.

This is particularly important as things ramp up this coming Wednesday.

Remember, it’s the boss we are trying to put pressure on, not our fellow members. We’ve already seen instances of the boss trying to victimise members for exercising their rights and we won’t stand for it. If we stick together and remain united, we will win.
