Enterprise Agreement update – Significant progress with the Government, position to be put to FWC tomorrow!

Over the course of the last week, we have been working day and night with the Government to finalise the enterprise agreement and provide members with the entitlements and pay we deserve.

We have come to the point where the Government has decided to put a position to the Fair Work Commission for our EA delegates to make a decision on. If the EA delegates are okay with the content of the offer, they will advise the Commission that an in-principle agreement has been reached.

A series of roadshows will follow to enable members to hear exactly what changes to conditions and pay increases they stand to gain should the agreement be voted up.

This potential outcome is due to an utterly incredible effort by all of your EA delegates who have put in countless hours of hard work and dedication to get us to the point we are at.

After that it is up to you, the members, to decide whether this EA is one you will accept.
