The below action will come into effect on 15 January 2025 and are indefinite:
- Not performing work which is subject to a ban or limitation in place by the ASU, AMWU, ETU, and/or Professionals Australia.
- A ban on working with non-Sydney Trains and/or NSW Trains employees.
- A ban on performing work to reinstate a train service if a train service is cancelled.
- A ban on duties associated with non-safety critical REMs.
- A ban on additional duties for members at the Rail Operations Centre including coverage of live rostering.
- A ban on any employee at the Rail Operations Centre whose work is capable of being performed at Belmore working from a location other than Belmore.
- A ban on duties associated with Work on Track Authorities unless deemed an emergency by a NIM in conjunction with a TSDM.
The below actions will come into effect on 15 January 2025 and will continue until 11:59pm 17 January 2025:
- A restriction on the maximum speed Train Crew will operate train being 23km/h less than the posted speed limit on sections of track that are 80km/h or higher (the figure “23” being representative of the total percentage the NSW Government is refusing to pay its public sector workers in 2024/2025).
- A ban on issuing or accepting transposition slips.
The below action will come into effect on 15 January 2025 and continue until 12:01am on 5 February 2025
- A ban on maintaining Points, Testing and adjusting the Facing Point Lock (FPL) of Points, and testing and adjusting the detection of Points.
The below actions came into effect on 11 September 2024 and are indefinite:
- Wearing union gear to work
- Placing stickers or other union/campaign material on Railway assets (so long as it does not affect safety)
- Speaking to members of the public or the media about campaign or union matters
Continuing industrial action #1
- CSOs at Flemington and Leppington only performing work to their current master roster structure.
- Ban on using the Fare Compliance Management System app.
- Ban on Transport Officers issuing fines, cautions, and/or checking tickets between 6am and 10am each day, and 3pm and 7pm each day, or at any times for passengers who are nurses.
- A ban on any duties involved in restoring Opal Gates to the closed position or normal operation once they have been opened or rendering inoperative for any reason.
- A ban on Train Crewing Operations compiled BCP reports.
- Only sending carriages locked off due to vandalism to their respective depots for repairs.
- A ban on changing bins or removing station bins when it is raining where the bin is located.
- A restriction by only using scrub machines (rather than a mop) on concourse areas when they are affected by rain or other weather events.
- A restriction on the performance of shunting work if in the preceding 24 hours at that location, a person who is not qualified to perform shunting work has performed shunting work.
- Qualified shunters only performing duties in strict adherence to established rules and procedures.
- A ban on the issuing of fines.
- A limitation on the manner that work is performed in
- A ban on bus deployment for Transport Officers.
- A ban on Signallers and/or Area Controllers undertaking or providing any form of training.
- A ban on the provision or receipt of all training that is not face to face.
- A ban on tapping off from the Kronos App.
- A ban tapping off on the Kronos system.
- A ban on completing exception reports arising from a failure to tap off from the Kronos App.
- A ban on the utilisation of Salesforce for attribution by Network Incident Managers.
Continuing industrial action #2
- A ban on performing duties outside of Day Zero Operations.
- A ban on using software, systems, and processes which members have not been trained on or accredited to use.
- A ban on training for Crew Support Officers (or employees acting in the CSO role) including but not limited to the training of employees under EOIs or Acting in Higher Grades.
