The below actions came into effect on on 11 September and are indefinite:
- Wearing union gear to work
- Placing stickers or other union/campaign material on Railway assets (so long as it does not affect safety)
- Speaking to members of the public or the media about campaign or union matters
The below actions came into effect on 30 October and are indefinite:
- A ban on changing bins or removing station bins when it is raining where the bin is located
- Only using scrub machines on concourse areas when they are affected by rain or other weather events
- Moving to an air-conditioned space when the temperatures reach over 30 degrees
- A ban on work in maintenance centres, on stations, and in stabling yards when it is raining in the location that work is being performed, unless that work is under cover. This ban includes work on trains not shunted to shed, and work on stations not under station awnings
- A restriction on the performance of shunting work if in the preceding 24 hours at that location, a person who is not qualified to perform shunting work has performed shunting work
- Shunters only performing duties in strict adherence to established rules and procedures
- Not performing work which is subject to a ban or limitation in place by the ASU, AMWU, ETU, and/ or Professionals Australia
- A ban on applying portable rail connections
- Standby at a member’s home depot/ station
- Only terminating trains in attended locations or attended platforms
- A ban on work on hybrid train sets
- A ban on the issuing of fines
- A ban on bus deployment for Transit Officers
- A ban on Signallers and/ or Area Controllers undertaking or providing any form of training
- A ban on manual intervention in the use of the ATRICS system
- A ban on the provision or receipt of all training that is not face-to-face
- A ban on tapping off from the Kronos App
- A ban on tapping off on the Kronos system
- A ban on completing exception reports arising from a failure to tap off from the Kronos App
- A ban on duties associated with non-safety critical REMs
- A ban on members in the Rail Operations Centre taking crib at the desk
- A ban on the utilisation of Salesforce for attribution by Network Incident Managers
- A ban on removing or otherwise dealing with dead animals.
The below actions come into effect from 9 November and are indefinite:
- A ban on duties associated with Absolute signal blocking
- A ban on working ‘shoulder to shoulder’ with non-Sydney Trains and NSW Trains employees
The below action came into effect on 14 November and is indefinite:
A gradual reduction in kilometres able to be worked by Train Crew on the suburban and intercity networks
The below actions came into effect from 12.01am on 20 November and are indefinite:
- A limitation on the manner in which work is performed in the form of a ban on training new trainees in the Rail Operations Centre.
- A limitation on the manner in which work is performed in the form of a ban on additional duties for members at the Rail Operations Centre including coverage of live rostering.
- A limitation on the manner in which work is performed in the form of leaving at least 30 seconds between phone calls for Train Crewing Operations.
- A limitation on the manner in which work is performed in the form of a ban on Train Crewing Operations compiled BCP reports.
- A limitation on the manner in which work is performed in the form of a ban on Train Crew Liaison Officers working from a location other than Belmore.
- A limitation on the manner in which work is performed in the form of a ban on any work related to protected industrial action cancellations or alterations to train running being balanced by Fleet Mechanical Control.
- A limitation on the manner in which work is performed in the form of only sending carriages locked off due to vandalism to their respective depots for repairs.
The below actions come into effect from 12.01am on 28 December and are indefinite:
- Train Crew working progressively less kilometres on a daily basis – per the table below.
- A ban on maintaining points
- A ban on working with non-Sydney Trains or NSW Trains employees
- Attaching stickers to Sydney/NSW Trains assets
- Wearing union gear to work
- Operating trains at 23km/h less than the posted speed limit on sections of track 80km/h or higher
- Ban on Transport Officers using the FCMS app
- Ban on Transport Officers issuing fines, cautions and/or checking tickets in peak hours, or at any time for passengers who are nurses
- Ban on Station Staff closing opal gates or restoring normal operation when they have been opened or rendered inoperative for any reason
- Ban on addition duties for ROC members, including coverage of live rostering
- Ban on reinstating a train service if it is cancelled
- Ban on Train Crew Liaison Officers working from a location other than Belmore
- Ban on duties associated with non-safety critical REMs
- Ban on ROC members taking meal breaks other than in their meal room
- A ban on working in spaces over 30 degrees Celsius or 80% humidity according the BOM app in the suburb the work is performed (retreat to an air conditioned space)
